Personality: Due to his noble background, Rowan prides himself on being sophisticated, elegant, intelligent and gentlemanly. He believes himself to be the embodiment of chivalry, the personification of class, and the perfect gentleman. However, Rowan is also vain, overconfident, and highly convinced of his own abilities, almost to the point of megalomania. He is also extremely haughty, prideful, arrogant, boastful and ambitious. Never hesitating to brag about his aristocratic heritage and status as “The World’s Most Beautiful Man”. On top of this, he’s prone to looking down upon the lower-classes, the ugly, and anyone who lacks elegance or “strength” (i.e. anyone who doesn’t possess a Zeal). Primarily, because he'd been raised in Lochernian high society, which is infamous for being intolerant and contemptuous of anyone who isn't "up to their standards". Due to the fact that he’s been showered with constant praise and admiration since his childhood, he handles criticism poorly and has trouble understanding the concept that he isn’t desired by every single woman that he meets. It’s also because of the constant attention that he received as a child, that he’s grown to despise anyone who takes the spotlight away from him and is prone to fits of intense jealousy, especially towards anyone that he perceives to be stronger or more beautiful than him.

Backstory: Rowan was born to one of the most prestigious noble families in Lochernia, whose members have served in the military for generations. The fourth of five children and the only son of Ambrose and Mary Whitethorn, he was practically destined to become the center of everyone’s attention. His father was a Paladin, one of the foremost knights in Hunter Armstrong’s court and famed as one of the greatest warriors in the Eight Kingdoms. A man who was widely considered to be one of the strongest candidates for the Lochernian throne, and even the exalted position of Emperor. The fact that Ambrose wasn't able to accomplish either of these goals, instilled a desire within Rowan: to surpass his father and succeed where he failed.

Alignment: Lawful Neutral/Anti-Hero

Cause/Objective: To become the next King of Lochernia, and eventually, the next Emperor of Zeal.

Zeal: Full Bloom - Rowan can create, shape and manipulate plants, including wood, vines, plants, moss, and parts of the plants, such as leaves, seeds, roots, fruits and flowers. He can cause plants to grow, move/attack or even rise from the soil and "walk", mutate plants by rearranging DNA structure and revive withered or dead plants. He can use his power for defense and support, cause flowers and other plants to bloom instantaneously, manipulate tree branches to use them as whip-like weapons, control spores and pollen, and bring plants back to life and make them sprout seeds/fruits/berries, use plant chemicals to heal people/objects or manipulate their properties for a wide range of effects. Using the plants as weapons enables him to grasp and strike continuously with vines and roots, project thorns at a distance, and quickly regenerate the withering weapons at his will. He can grow vines to entangle enemies climb around an enemy's neck, causing choking, or strike with plants. A more subtle technique is to release damaging toxins and pheromones, affecting his enemies in which conditions should be treated quickly with ailments.

Weapon: Gladiolus - His rapier, and is almost equal to Rowan's height when he is sitting. Its sheath and hilt have a dark-light colored, vertical-striped pattern. The hilt is also adorned with several rings and engraved flowers.
