Personality: Brash but Charismatic, Dai has gotten in trouble over the years due to his big mouth. That bad thing for everyone was that no matter what he was able to prove it. It wasn't due to luck or skill, but due to the persistence of wanting to be better no matter what, and no matter who stood in front of him. This caused some ire within the community, but respect among those who have made their way to the top, including the Almighty Eight Member Sumaya Halabi. She's taken not of his personality, but is impressed with the way he is able to wield his Zeal. Dai loves to fight, and finding ways to manage his Zeal, but gets annoyed when he knows a person is holding back, or is a waste of his time. Sometimes thought of fearless, but even the slightest sight of spiders sends a shiver down his spine. Little ones don't scare him, mostly due to the fact Varili has some giant spiders, so he knows what's out there

Backstory: Dai grew up under the watch of his grandparents. His mom had died when he was young and when trying to stop a robbery gone wrong, his father lost his life as well. It wasn't terrible but every now and then Dai sulked until his Zeal appeared. It was an Elemental Zeal, like that of ancestors before him. His uncle took interest in this and helped Dai hone his ability and fighting skills to make sure he could master, and master he did. Dai was a natural with his Elemental Zeal called Terra Nueva, using it in multitudes of ways of manipulating the earth around him and others. It was in these years that were the best for Dai, it was also in these years that Dai's personality started to turn into this brash cocky young man. One day he spoke into existence to be the next Almighty Eight member of Varili, but as he got better and better, he thought why stop there. Only he could stop himself from becoming great, so why stop there. Up next at the batter's Box, you next Emperor of Zeal, Dai Rios, it has a nice ring to it.

Cause/Objective: To find new ways to manifest his Zeal, and to become the next Emperor of Zeal

Zeal: Terra Nueva (New Earth)- Elemental Zeal. Dai is able to use the earth this his advantage. And he doesn't just mean solid earth, but any type of earth, from sand, to dirt, to rock, you name it. If it was of the earth he can use it. This means he is also able to mess with the consistency of these material turning Sand into something as hard as a boulder, or turning something as massive as a boulder into a pound of mush like sand. Along with this he is also able to conjure Earth like weapons from the ground, his favorite being a stone rod that can gain mass at the tip if impaled into the earth.

Zeal Type: Elemental- Earth

Techniques (Optional):

Meteor Strike- With a mighty stomp, Dai launches many rock projectiles up to his line of sight, and uses his rod to smack them at enemies.

Earthen Club- In a similar matter he can make his rod into a club made of smaller fragments of stone, all he does is smack the ground with it and the fragment stick to the rod making a club.

Claustrophobic- Dai is able to trap his opponents in a earth coffin. He doesn't use it to smash his opponents, no he loves to toy with them. As they hang in the air he likes to smash the coffin into nearby surroundings or if he really wants to, just tossing the coffin in air at the rightfully frightened captives in it.

Rios Special- When not using his rod Dai is able to keep it in his pocket but when the time comes he uses it for close quarter combat, using it as a surprise attack on unsuspecting opponents by quickly extending into the face or whatever area of an opponent.



Weapon (Optional):

Rios Lifeline- The Rios Lifeline is what the rod Dai carries is called. It's an expanding rod which means he can have it as small has a stick or as large as a javelin. The material is made of certain earth that is very rare to the region, and is the cause of the expansion capabilities of the rod as only the Rios line are the only earth elemental users in the region skilled enough to wield it.
