The Zeal Games are an annual event that sweeps through the news of the Eight Major Kingdoms of Athesia. It is a special tournament where all of the greatest Zeal Warriors from all of the Eight Kingdoms gather and battle for Fame, Fortune, and Bragging Rights. It is hosted on a neutral territory known as the Phoenix Archipelago. The Games are viewed all throughout the world and are attended by The Almighty Eight, The Four Pillars, and The Emperor of Zeal. Said group use the games as a way to scout for their potential successors and strong warriors to take under their wings or to join their ranks. It is also a way to weed out the intentions of some of the strongest fighters in the world and if someone is deemed to much of a danger to the world, they are captured and arrested by the Superpowers of the World. The Zeal Games have been a staple of the world for as long as the Zeal Empire system has been intact. As such many incredibly talented and influential Zeal Warriors have participated in it, such as many if not all of the Almighty Eight and The Emperor of Zeal himself.
